Software Professionals
We need somewhere in the region of 400 volunteers!! We are working with CodeClub.org.uk to create as many code clubs in schools in Cornwall as possible. If you have about an hour to spare a week we’d love to hear from you. No experience is necessary as all training and things to do have already been created.
If you volunteer, we will
- sort out DBS(CRB) Checks
- introduce you to and register you as a STEM ambassador
- help link you with a school
- provide all the basic teaching materials needed
- offer you a train the trainer course
Mission to Mars Work Experience
Tech Cornwall also runs the Mission to Mars three times a year. This also requires some extra volunteer support. The Missions run over four or five days for six hours. If you are able to assist the teams of students in the problem solving exercises for any length of time and also to talk to them about your own work, we’d like to hear from you.
