Kernow DAT is a melting pot for Cornish creativity with a twist of tech, perfect for the digitally curious.

With the world more interlinked than ever before, it’s important to connect in an informal setting to celebrate our passion for all things in the creative sphere. Events like this encourage the exchange of ideas between related industries and like-minded individuals.

Each evening focuses on a project from the broad range of creative disciplines based in Cornwall with a tech twist. But we do things differently. It won’t be a parade of passive talks to sit through. It is a creative event after all. We’ll be premiering a short micro-documentary as part of a dual-format event before hosting a Q&A with the creators of the project.

This Event
This outing is based around a creative project with a bit of a whiff.

The Book Sniffers Club is a new creative wellbeing project which aims to get our noses back into our books and make breathing fun again.

We’ll be exploring the artistic thought process behind the project, highlighting the need to have some fun with our noses after a year of mask-wearing as well as diving into the technology that powers the online portal for the project.

Whether you’re a bookworm or not, this is a project that is sure to put a smile on your face.

We’ll be releasing a micro-documentary during the event for the audience to enjoy, followed by a Q&A with the creators plus an interactive guided usage of the project.

All Zoomed out? Watch the micro-documentary on YouTube as part of the public premiere at the same time as the private Zoom call. You can join in with the comments on YouTube (if you wish) which will feed into the private Q&A.
