A Tech Explorers workshop for Summer 2026
Inspired by a real local connection to HMS Resolute and
Arctic exploration, this hands on workshop lets young
explorers aged 10 to 14 discover how technology helps
people survive and explore extreme environments.
Children will build and programme their own electronic rescue beacon using a BBC microbit, then leap forward to space exploration by coding a small Mars rover. A fun introduction to coding, electronics, and robotics through the story of exploration from the Arctic to Mars.
Places for Caradon residents are fully funded by the Lyskerys Fund.
