We’ve taught 1000s of kids to code over the years, but this one is for the grown ups!
On Saturday 16th August, we’re running a Beginners Coding Workshop at FibreHub in Pool, and it’s completely free to attend.
Whether you’re thinking about a career change, exploring a new hobby, or just curious about tech and fancy giving it a go, this is a relaxed and friendly space to try coding for the very first time. No jargon. No pressure. Just come along and have a go.
What to expect
These workshops are designed for absolute beginners aged 16+. You don’t need any experience, just an open mind and a willingness to try something new.
You’ll be guided by participants from our Digital Skills Trainer programme. There are people who are learning how to share their tech skills with others. So while you’re learning to code, they’re learning how to teach. It’s a win-win!
You’ll get stuck into some fun, simple activities using beginner-friendly tools like robot dogs, micro:bits, and more. Each session will be slightly different, so if you fancy joining both, go for it!
