Tech Cornwall Successfully Hosts First EXIN Accredited Agile & Scrum Training - Tech Cornwall

Tech Cornwall, now an EXIN Accredited Centre, successfully ran their first Agile & Scrum Foundation accredited workshop at Falmouth University, Penryn, just ahead of the International Agile on the Beach conference.

Held on 2-3 July, the two-day course achieved a 100% pass rate among learners. Led by Phil Marshall Agile Coach for Cornwall Council, the interactive session covered Agile principles and Scrum practices crucial for today’s project management. Participants engaged in hands-on activities, including team exercises and LEGO-based sprints, to apply Agile and Scrum concepts practically.

“We are thrilled with the enthusiastic participation and dedication shown by our attendees,” said Kayley Lawry, Academy Manager. “Their commitment to learning and applying Agile and Scrum methodologies was truly inspiring.”

This course is part of Tech Cornwall’s Agile & Scrum training pathway, taking participants from basic to Master Level with EXIN. While Agile is well-known in software development, its principles are increasingly applied in various projects. Scrum, the most-used Agile methodology, suits all professionals aiming to stay current with IT and project management developments.

This training marks another milestone in Tech Cornwall’s commitment to high-quality professional development. We look forward to hosting more events, fostering a community of skilled and certified professionals ready for modern project management challenges.
