Join ATI2’s next Cornwall Innovation Club, titled ‘Make Smart’, where we will explore how engineering and manufacturing businesses can innovate their processes, products and services, as well as adopt new technologies to improve efficiencies, health and safety considerations, and ensure future prosperity and growth.

This event will feature ATI2 Business Innovation Advisor, Mike Robertson, who will showcase some of the innovation projects that ATI2 have supported within the manufacturing industry.

Mike has been working with a number of Cornish manufacturers within the county to support their aspirations to innovate and grow, and will bring to the forefront the different areas of support and type of projects ATI2 can assist with, including funding for:

• Process Improvement / next generation

• Proof of Market / Wider Feasibility Issues

• Proof of Concept

• Prototyping

• New Product / Service to firm

• IP / Patent costs.

We will also be joined by Paul Gilbert, Manufacturing Specialist at SWMAS, who will delve into the latest manufacturing trends and discuss some of the emerging technologies which are transforming manufacturing as we know it, driving efficiencies and helping businesses to make things in new and smarter ways.

ATI2 regularly collaborate with SWMAS, to combine both project’s support, skills and expertise in order to overcome a variety of challenges faced by manufacturers today.

From the University of Plymouth’s Digital Fabrication and Immersive Media Laboratories (DFIML), Konstantin Leonenko, DFIML Engagement Manager, will be in attendance to showcasing their ‘Labs in a Box’ technology. Leonenco will present how the DFIML delivers bespoke training sessions to help organisations develop a strong understanding of the value, implications and impact these technologies can have on their businesses.

This event is specifically aimed at Cornish manufacturers, to raise awareness of the support, guidance and funding available to assist them with their ongoing innovation strategy, to improve efficiencies, become more sustainable and invest in the technologies of the future.

The Cornwall Innovation Club is a complimentary event delivered by ATI2 and hosted in partnership with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.
