Cornwall Innovation Club: The Power of Play

Thursday 30 09 2021 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Delivered by ATI² and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce, the Cornwall Innovation Club is a bi-monthly, fully-funded networking event.

Join ATI2’s next Cornwall Innovation Club, ‘The Power of Play’, where we will be exploring how businesses can adopt gamification as a way to create new products, services and experiences, or enhance existing ones.

Play is a powerful driver for consumers and can be a great source of innovation. It can increase brand awareness, cultivate customer loyalty and, such as in the case of Lego Serious Play, it can even be used as a way to unlock new ideas, learn and get employees to think in new and novel ways.

Famous examples of gamification include Google, whose online learning platform Google Digital Garage encourages learners to level up, and then there’s McDonald’s with their infamous Monopoly board which entices customers back for more to complete the board.

Whether a playful approach is applied digitally or physically, gamification has been successfully leveraged by many businesses and, depending on the idea, it doesn’t have to be expensive either.

This event will look at how businesses can use gamification techniques and new technologies to innovate and will feature a range of speakers showcasing different examples that may inspire your business to harness the power of play!

If you have a small pile of Lego at home or can borrow some from a generous child, then make sure you have it to hand for this playful webinar.
