Assisting healthcare professionals to support breastfeeding choices

About this Event

According to UNICEF, the UK has some of the lowest breastfeeding rates in the world. Help Me Feed is a non-profit with a mission to increase breastfeeding rates and improve maternal and child health. The Help Me Feed app empowers women to build confidence in their breastfeeding choices through the largest digital breastfeeding library in the world. In this event, Kathy Phelan, Founder of the Help Me Feed Foundation, will demonstrate how the app can be used by healthcare professionals to support breastfeeding. She will explain how the app is used in a range of different settings around the globe before an open discussion about breastfeeding-related challenges faced in the UK.

Suitable for: Midwives, student midwives and community groups
