School outreach
School visits are a major part of our youth programme. From Year 4 in primary schools all the way up to universities we aim to showcase to students the opportunities in technology in Cornwall. With our member businesses looking for personnel to swell their ranks where else to look than locally. Tech Cornwall is not new to this, and the benefits are already being seen with students we have met in school now working in tech locally and even volunteering alongside us.
School visits can be the classic Careers Fair, or the speed networking event the Careers Carousel and our favourite, the workshop. If your school could benefit from meeting us, and we’re sure it could, then get in touch.

“The Mission to Mars week provides a fantastic experience for learners where they gain experience of what It is like to be a “real” software developer. We find that Mission to Mars is a great opportunity for learners to gain practical key skills in programming and team working which is invaluable in future practice. Learners thoroughly enjoy the Mission to Mars experience and are incredibly proud of everything they achieve across the week.”
