Last week under the glorious Cornish sunshine we hosted Demo Night in partnership with Canopy Community at Newquay Orchard.
We had a full house of the Cornish startup community, made up of founders, supporters, investors, and more, all cheering on the 5 startups that showcased their products. Each founder shared what they’re building, received thoughtful and constructive feedback from the crowd, and left with more energy (and connections!) than they came with.
A huge well to the demo night startups:
Time for Good – Micro-volunteering for everyone
JamUp – Helping autistic children build daily routines
Electrical Certs – Simplifying electrical compliance
Cabo – A fairer ride-hailing platform for drivers and riders
AnyWaste.com – The Uber for waste management
And a special shout out goes to the People’s Choice winner Rachael at JamUp! (JamUp is going from strength to strength from winning the Cornwall Slush’D 2023 pitch competition, to launching the app and scaling the business)
If you missed out, you can catch up on the demos over on the Canopy Community Youtube channel here or read a summary of the night here.(We couldn’t quite bottle the sunshine or food, but you can relive the buzz.)
We’d love to welcome you to the next demo night, which will be taking place at… (drumroll please)
