A commercial deal between two Cornish tech agencies has been finalised.

A commercial agreement between forward-thinking tech agency, Thought Quarter, and Bodmin-based, Tanist, has been finalised.

This agreement will see Thought Quarter acquire all web development and hosting clients, both current and future, from Tanist.

Tanist have decided to streamline their current services, focus solely on IT support services and hardware installation as they move forward. “The market has changed, and much of it is now dominated by specialist website development and hosting.” Said John Holman CEO at Tanist. “Thought Quarter are a dynamic team who have those skills in abundance.”

Thought Quarter, who are based in the FibreHub, specialise in digital transformations, amplifying businesses across the UK through software strategy, design, and development. Thought Quarter founder and MD, Sam Armondi, spoke positively about the commercial transaction: “We’re thrilled to have finalised this acquisition and are already having some fantastic conversations with the transferred clients”.
“We have a great relationship with the team at Tanist and will continue to work with them to ensure both their existing and new clients benefit from this transition. We’re excited to help them level-up”.

This acquisition adds to Thought Quarter’s growth, which has seen the team increase significantly in the past year. “It’s fantastic to see the TQ team thriving and be able to offer more opportunities to the Cornish tech community. We have ambitious growth plans for 2023 and that includes exciting new job roles.” Said People and Culture Director, Allanah Armondi. “We’re looking for people who share our values and growth mindset – people who love solving problems and want to join us on our journey to employee ownership.”
