You’re great at your job – whether that’s building beautiful digital products, developing clean, functional code, or solving tricky technical problems. But how’s your online presence looking?
Marketing yourself online matters. It’s good for your career. It’s good for your employer. And it’s good for your future.
In a world where potential clients, collaborators, and hiring managers often Google you before they meet you, having a solid digital presence isn’t just for salespeople or founders anymore.
Whether you're growing your career, hoping to speak at events, contribute more visibly to your community, or launch something new, how you show up online plays a big part in helping people find (and trust) you.
This friendly, practical session is designed specifically for developers, product folk, and digital creatives who want to take a more intentional approach to their personal brand – without falling into cringe or corporate nonsense.
It’s delivered by a self-confessed introvert who’s had to push through the uncomfortable feeling of showing up online – someone who understands how challenging it can be. So rest assured, it won’t be all polished sales speak and extroverted influencer tactics.
Meet Lyssa!

Whether she’s coaching teams through strategy or demystifying LinkedIn for introverts, Lyssa is known for making complex ideas accessible - and turning digital presence from a chore into a strength.
As this training is Part-Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund there will be some paperwork for attendees to complete (this only needs completing once and not required for every masterclass).
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
During this masterclass we'll cover:
- LinkedIn that doesn’t make you cringe – how to build a profile that reflects your skills and interests
- Thought leadership – sharing what you know in ways that build trust and credibility
- Making social media work for you – showing up where it matters, without burning out
- Websites and portfolios – when (and if) you need one, and how to make it work for you
- What tools to use – from scheduling posts to simple SEO and reputation monitoring
There’ll be real-world examples, practical tips, and time for questions – and you’ll leave with a checklist you can actually use to tidy up your digital presence straight away.
Anyone!
You don’t need to be good at marketing – just curious about how to make your online presence reflect the brilliant work you’re already doing.
