We are a long-established group of self-catering holiday-letting agencies with a large portfolio of the finest holiday homes. Our brands include Aspects Holidays, Boutique Retreats, Classic Cottages, Grandeur Property, Island Escapes, and Unique Hideaways.

Innovative application of software solutions is one of the cornerstones of our success, and we are looking for a passionate .NET Software Developer, with an interest in modern code practices, to join our development team.

About the role:

You will take a pivotal role in the migration, development, and evolution of our cloud-based, line-of-business applications, supporting the needs of a well-established business in a growing and evolving market.

We’re building user-focused tools to help scale and optimise the workflows internally for hundreds of staff and provide the best experience for our customers, with an agile mindset of “deliver early and iterate often”. Working predominantly in the Microsoft Azure environment, we’re leveraging a wide range of cloud technologies, Blazor SPAs and service-oriented architecture. Continued investment in developer-experience is a priority to support our teams in delivering the highest quality outcomes with minimal overhead.

This position offers the opportunity to help shape the future of our technical landscape and to be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from discovery and specification to design, development, testing, and deployment.

You’ll be based in our modern, purpose-designed office in Hayle, built to foster collaboration and creativity, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week. We’re proud to support and grow local tech talent in Cornwall and are looking for candidates who are already located within commuting distance of our office.

Ideal strengths for this role:

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in .NET development, but we value diverse experiences and believe that great developers can come from various backgrounds. If you have a passion for learning and relevant experience, we’d love to hear from you.

• 2+ years’ commercial experience with .NET
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, Web API, MVC or similar web technologies
• Competency in Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL, and .NET ORMs (Entity Framework)
• Experience with source control in a team environment
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployment
