Following interest from our members, we are exhibiting at Geekfest Season 6 this August, 6th-7th.
Geekfest is back after a two year hiatus (Due to covid) and we’re glad to see it return to plenty of support. It’s a great event and always plenty to entertain all ages throughout the weekend.
Expect Cosplay, live performances, movie props, photo op’s. Alongside this, there will be a Dinosaur area for Jurassic Park fans, Drone Racing and VR experiences to enjoy from Player Ready Virtual Reality. There will be games from Falmouth University Games Academy and much more.
As well as us, Software Cornwall – who will be offering workshops on Coding, both on Microbits and in Minecraft on our PiTops, alongside some retro gaming workshop hours during the day as well.
Our resident quiz master, Garry Hunt will be joining the party in the evening for the over 18s, who’ll be enjoying a themed bar, live music and a live laser show – it’s all so exciting. We’re can’t wait to be there and be apart of what is always a great event.
