In the first of our ‘Meet the World’ event series, Jordan Rubinson from Pulsenmore (Israel) will talk through a home ultrasound and Murad Abushaikha from Lovey’s (UAE) will demonstrate the benefits of a contactless smart monitor for babies or other situations. This will be followed by a discussion about whether these technologies could be adopted in the UK.

The Meet the World Online Series aims to facilitate discussion about eHealth solutions across continents. These taster sessions are opportunities to meet organisations and businesses around the globe to explore how technology can improve health and wellbeing. The event series is suitable for: health and care professionals, SMEs, local council, academics, commissioners, patient representative groups and more.

Delivered by EPIC, The Meet the World series of events are fully-funded webinars. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), EPIC is a £4 million project led by the University of Plymouth’s Centre for Health Technology. EPIC provides sector-specific support for local businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to develop new eHealth products and services that will not only create new jobs and support the local economy, but create truly useful innovations to improve quality of life and boost wellbeing for many.
