Google invite Redruth based Apprentice to break barriers - Tech Cornwall

A St Austell teenager has broken barriers at an event hosted by web giant Google, proving that gender is no obstacle for success in the tech industry. Jordan Barkway, a 17-year-old Apprentice who works at Bluefruit Software in Redruth, got the opportunity to speak at the South West’s first Google Women Techmakers event. The Google Techmakers programme provides visibility, community and resources to support gender equality in the tech sector and aims to help women become active role models and leaders in the field.
