Demo Night Cornwall, brought to you by Tech Cornwall and Canopy Community during UK Tech Week is a lively and engaging event designed to combat startup failure by fostering collaboration, feedback, and innovation. Founders present their ideas, products, or services to a diverse and energetic audience of investors, industry experts, and entrepreneurs while enjoying a fun and interactive atmosphere.
Startups face failure rates as high as 90% in their early years, and Demo Night provides a platform to overcome these challenges through diverse perspectives, critical reflections, and iterative collaboration.

Tech Jam Late
Tech Jam Late with Tech Cornwall offers an engaging, hands-on coding experience for anyone curious about code. Your next tech product could be just one Tech Jam away!
We’ll provide:
- Raspberry Pi computers, BBC Microbits, Arduino boards, and PCs for you to use
- A Tech Cornwall team member who will gently guide you step-by-step through the basics of coding
- An informal and fun atmosphere where you set your own pace and connect with others in the tech community
This session will show you just how accessible and useful coding can be, whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious about code. Join us from 6pm for Tech Jam. Demo Night will start at 7pm.
This session is designed for adults of all interests and backgrounds with no experience necessary. You don’t have to have an idea for a tech product in mind, but if you do, this could be the place to begin your journey or even meet a co-founder!
