LumiraDx Care Solutions attains Gold status in Healthy Workplace Awards - Tech Cornwall

LumiraDx Care Solutions has once again achieved Gold in the Healthy Workplace Awards in recognition of their commitment to health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Healthy Workplace Award is run by Cornwall Council and endorsed by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and is a county standard of good practice and a quality mark of health and wellbeing in the workplace.

This is the fourth year LumiraDx Care Solutions has participated in the awards and the second time they have been awarded Gold status. To achieve gold status, LumiraDx Care Solutions had to complete and pass 10 core criteria which included topics such as; Creating a Healthy Workplace, Health and Safety, Mental Wellbeing, and Recruitment and Retention.
LumiraDx Care Solutions aims to improve on and introduce new health and wellbeing initiatives each year with a clear commitment from the Senior Management team to promote health and wellbeing throughout the organisation. The company was recognised for its recent focus on mental health and wellbeing, with initiatives led by the People Development Team including; the training of five Mental Health First-Aiders, mindfulness training, a new chill-out area for relaxation and the celebration of World Mental Health Day on 10 October to help initiate conversations and raise awareness of mental health in the workplace.

The Healthy Workplace awards ceremony will take place on 18 March 2019 where participating companies from Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly will come together to receive their awards from Dame Carol Black and take the opportunity to share and learn from each other.
