Cornwall .NET Developers aim to be the furthest west .NET meetup group in mainland England. If you want to talk about .NET, but though Cornwall was bereft of fellow developers, think again!
Their next meetup is on Friday the 8th at 6pm.
.NET New Year Meetup
To kick this year off there are two great presentations for the meetup.
Group co-organisers, Rahul, James and James from Headforwards will be giving an overview of the shiny new features in Visual Studio 2019, hopefully including a live demo of the Live Share feature between a Windows machine and a Mac.
Then there will be pizza and beer with the evening being finished off with with Barney Nicholls (also from Headforwards) showing you how to build a game you can control with your body using Unity and the Microsoft Kinect.
Hopefully, it should be a fun start to the year and take your minds off the dark, cold, evenings.
Headforwards are hosting this event in their office at Cornwall College, in the Opie Building on the top floor. Starting at 6pm, with pizzas around 6:40, Barney will start around 7:10. The event should be finished before 8pm.
